This images has similarities between the four images that make it up, as they are different angles and perspectives of the same thing. However, as it is in black and white with no grayscale, it uses the theory of closure to portray features such as the nose and lips.

This image’s use of proximity gives the feel of a crowded city, which is fitting as its title is city life. It is made up of elements that build a city. There is a common fate as all of the little images are facing up and are all aligned toward the city.

Continuation is present here, as the image of Walter Gropius is made up of many partial circles. These elements being so many and so close together, are perceived as a group and help to form the image. Finally, closure is used to fill the gaps between the elements to complete the picture of the man.
