Colouring Process
I find the process of creating artwork from start to finish fascinating. It lets me see the techniques other artists use and how I could implement into my own artworks to perhaps improve them. I love seeing the artwork translated from sketch into a polished detailed work.
There has been a lot of detail concentrated throughout the artwork, more impressively on parts that seem unimportant in comparison to the rest of the image (such as the weapon chain & lace on the top of the boots)
I also like how the artist has digitally altered the pencil sketch in an editing program to fix parts that were out of proportion such as her height & arm length. Making sure everything is in proportion is crucial when your subject matter and style is aiming for that realistic look.
