Week 1 – Target

I’m not entirely sure if this is classified as ‘closure’, so if it’s not let me know and I’ll do an other one.

Ok so I went with the Target logo because it’s some where my family shops a lot and the logo is a simple design that you can do a lot with.
I used the natural circle shape of the flower as the basis for my idea. I tried a few different variations on this design, including using the center of the flower as the inner most circle. However, this caused the effect to become lost as the outer ring and the center circle were not the same colour, as they are in the actual logo.
I used the colours I did to be as close to the red and white of the logo while still being natural like colours.

The end result I think would be used to advertise Targets spring clothing collections.
