I unfortunately have really ugly initials.
but I think it looks nice if it has a very ornate and decorative aesthetic. It dresses up the characters and makes them look more pleasing to the eye.
in contrast, I tried a simple heavy typeface (Arial Black), which gives me the option to play around and create something of a symbol from my two letterforms. I quite like the last composition the most and think it would make a nice logo ~
