Week4 tutorial task
The task was to create an image that uses a combination of signs to convey meaning. In the brief, we were asked to refer to the poster about the New Yorker’s lecture in Iowa. This image followed a similar concept as it uses the signifier of the iPod to represent music, as well as the signifier of the banana to represent Coffs Harbour and what they’re most known for (the ‘Big Banana’). I’ve only referenced the image of Ed Sheeran’s album as all of the other elements were drawn by myself in Illustrator.
