For this task we had to create an image commenting on a controversial topic. I chose animal testing in regards to make-up & cosmetics. The glamour photo is advertising the lipstick, but I edited it to look as if it were blood. The message at the bottom of the image suggests that the blood is that of an animal which suffered at the hands of the make-up industry.

The image is supposed to be provocative and make the audience reconsider all those glamourous advertisements they see in magazines or when they’re shopping.
