I took an original painting by Vanessa Prager & recreated it using photos and manipulation them in photoshop.

Task 2;

For the second task, I took inspiration from the artist Nellie Meadows, who was most known for painting indigenous flora and fauna of the area she lived in (Wikipedia, 2012). I played with the flora aspect and made it interact with the type on the image.

Task 3;

This logo was inspired by the Roden Crater.

The Roden crater is an extinct volcanic cinder core, tured contemporary artpeice (Rodencrater, 2010). Much of the photography is from within the crater with the entrance at the top creating a portal to the sky outside. This is what my logo is based on. It is quite simplistic, which it reflective of the photography of Roden Crater.
