SAEQ redesign
In our class with David last week I had a few concepts going (mainly the beach scene and the TVs going inside each other from olden to plasmas). I stuck with the simple idea of having the same old television set repeatedly going in and getting smaller. However to make it more fun and pop-arty to bring life to the foyer, I made each television frame a different colour and each grey screen getting lighter as it got smaller. This was just to make it as playful as possible.
Then to keep the background from being white like the existing canvases, I used the background space to create the perfect blue sky with sun rays shining through. This represents the beach and the beautiful world outside of SAE’s campus, reminding everyone to get out every now and then and soak in some sun and nature. I drew the vector in Illustrator so there are no images to reference.

This is my design mounted on the SAE foyer wall.
